Deborah Mannis-Gardner was included on the 2024 Billboard Hip-Hop Power Players list.

“Helping to bring De La Soul’s catalog to streaming in 2023 was extremely meaningful, and I was thankful to get to be a part of music history through that project,” says Mannis-Gardner, who worked with Reservoir, which obtained the group’s back catalog through its acquisition of the pioneering independent hip-hop label Tommy Boy Music. “Working on the clearances for Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album this year was definitely a standout moment as well,” she says. “Both projects were very complex in terms of clearances, and it was personally rewarding to see them come to fruition.”
