A&R Worldwide covered the recently held first Angry Mob New Normal song camp!
The New Normal Writing Camp, organized by Los Angeles-based Angry Mob Music Group, brought together an array of artists, writers, and producers from diverse cultural backgrounds in Downtown Los Angeles last month. Over five days, from June 26-30, more than 30 participants collaborated in an environment that fostered creativity and inclusivity. The camp included 50% women producers and 70% female writers/artists among its attendees. Founded by Ralph Torrefranca, the Filipino-American Sr. Director of A&R at Angry Mob, The New Normal focuses to uplift underrepresented voices in the music business. The event was supported by BMI, Topo Chico, Shure, JHS Pedals, Izotope, Native Instruments, and Spitfire Audio. The organization plans for future camps in Los Angeles in fall 2023 and Nashville in 2024.
