SourceAudio has announced the promotion of Weston McGowen to Global Head of Catalog Services. Based in New Orleans, McGowen will report directly to Andrew Harding, SourceAudio’s Co-Founder & CEO. Previously serving as VP of Music Partnerships, McGowen will now manage SourceAudio’s worldwide catalog operations, encompassing client relations, metadata systems, and rights-management infrastructure that support a vast network of rightsholders, publishers, broadcasters, and media companies. He will also lead the company’s Rights and Royalties Division, including SourceAudio Collect, its publishing-administration branch that represents more than 1.6 million musical works. SourceAudio’s platform currently hosts over 50 million assets and supports more than 140 broadcasters and entertainment networks, such as Netflix, Warner Bros. Discovery, Amazon, iHeartRadio, and Audacy.
