Deborah Mannis-Gardner was honored as part of Billboard’s 2025 R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players in the Multisector category.
Samples remain an instrumental element of popular music, and DMG Clearances has ridden them to major showings at the 2025 Grammys. “We worked on four out of five of the best rap album nominees, including the winner, Alligator Bites Never Heal by Doechii,” Mannis-Gardner says, also noting the company’s work on Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter, which took home album of the year, and best reggae album winner Bob Marley: One Love — Music Inspired by the Film (Deluxe). DMG Clearances also contributed to 2024 Hot 100 hits like Jordan Adetunji’s “Kehlani” and Eminem’s “Houdini.”
