Music Ally covered SourceAudio’s recent partnership with ElevenLabs.

ElevenLabs is the AI startup that has been creating licensed voice clones of a variety of dead celebrities and artists. We wrote about its addition of The Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia last November for example.

Now it has signalled its intentions to do more with actual music, via a deal with SourceAudio. That’s the sync platform that has recently diversified into dataset licensing for AI.

It will now be the “preferred music licensing partner” for ElevenLabs, providing it with millions of pre-cleared songs to train its models.
