New Industry Focus highlighted the new partnership between Symphonic and Vocana.

Vocana, the streaming platform built specifically for independent music, has partnered with Symphonic Artists, a music technology and services company for independent labels, managers and artists.

What it means:

• Symphonic Artists’ global catalog will now be available on Vocana.
• Its artists will in turn have access to Vocana’s tools, which allow artists to see who is listening to their music, how fans are engaging, and – when fans opt in – communicate directly with listeners via first-party contact information tied to individual streams.
• The streaming platform has previously signed partnership deals with DistroKid, CD Baby, FUGA, and more.
