February 12, 2025 (Tampa, FL) – Symphonic Distribution, a leading music technology and services company for independent labels, managers, and artists, has launched their new Spanish-language podcast “Tírame Por Face.” Hosted by Dominican media personality Jennifer Mota, the series dives into the personal stories behind the creators who are transforming the Latin Urbano music scene.

Each episode of “Tírame Por Face” is dedicated to a specific artist or producer who represents a unique Latin Urbano genre such as Trap, Dembow, Reggaeton, Merengue Típico, Funk Carioca, or Latin Hip-Hop. The first episode, released on January 15th, features Dominican-Spanish artist and producer Lennis Rodriguez. Rodriguez has over 1.8 million followers on TikTok and is known for her hit song “Diablita Remix,” which has reached nearly 55 million streams on Spotify. Her sound is deeply influenced by Afrobeat and rhythms that trace back to African music, including Reggaeton, Tropical, Moombahton, and Bachata. With a unique ability to blend these genres with electronic beats, Caribbean and Hispanic melodies, and traditional string instruments like the Spanish guitar and flamenco hand claps, Rodriguez creates a rich, immersive musical experience.
Future guests will include:
- Phyzh Eye: A Mexican rapper known for blending the traditional sounds of Rap Regio and underground Hip-Hop with modern Trap influences. His 2017 single “So High, So Close” has surpassed 2 million streams on Spotify.
- MÓRIA:A Dominican and Canadian singer-songwriter and producer whose sound utilizes the contrast of Afrocentric tones and percussions from the Caribbean with Diaspora, Pop, and Emo Punk from the early 2000s.
- And more to come!
“EL Movimiento Latino is growing now more than ever,” said Mota, a cultural storyteller and creative strategist specializing in artist development, strategic branding, and the amplification of underrepresented voices within the Dominican and Latinx music scene. “The harmonious aspect of this series is that we are interacting with talent while they’re calling, IRL, from places that represent their creative and safe spaces. Each of the show’s featured artists is contributing to their respective genres in a very unique way. I’m looking forward to sharing their stories with the world.”
“Tírame Por Face” is an exciting way for us to amplify the voices of emerging Latin creators who are shaping the future of urban music,” said Janette Berrios, VP of Corporate Marketing at Symphonic. “Through authentic conversations and intimate moments, we’re shedding light on the diversity, culture, and creativity driving genres like Trap, Dembow, Reggaeton, Funk Carioca, and Latin Hip Hop. This series reflects Symphonic’s ongoing mission to champion independent artists and bring their stories to the forefront of the global music scene.”
The podcast is available in video and audio formats on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Deezer. For more information and links to listen to the podcast, click here. To view the promo teaser for the show, click here.
