February 25, 2026 (Tampa, FL) – As part of its strategic efforts to continue expanding its independent artist and label roster in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, Symphonic – a leading music technology and services company for independent labels, managers, and artists – has promoted Guji Lorenzana to Director, A&R and Client Development, APAC. The company has also expanded its APAC A&R team with two new hires and announced several new artist and label signings across the Philippines, Vietnam, and China.

Guji Lorenzana
In his new role, Lorenzana will oversee regional A&R strategy, client development, and team growth across key APAC markets, working closely with artists, labels, and partners throughout Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia, and Australia. He previously served as Symphonic’s first Territory Manager, A&R and Client Development, APAC.
Since joining Symphonic in 2024, Lorenzana has secured a series of high-profile label and artist signings while also building Symphonic’s first dedicated APAC team from the ground up. Key signings by Lorenzana and his A&R team include DYNA Music, the oldest music catalog in the Philippines; Underdog Music, one of the most important independent labels in Original Pilipino Music (OPM); independent Taiwanese label Kafka by the Sea; Hong Kong singer, songwriter, and producer XTIE; Indonesian music and publishing company Werdi Media; Indonesian singer/actress SIVIA; Australian indie label Hitmakers Entertainment; ABYSS Company in Korea; and Sagarika Music in India, among many others.
A Growing Team
In addition to Lorenzana’s promotion, Symphonic has hired Arie Legowo as A&R Client Development Lead, Indonesia and Abegail Ungab as Senior Manager, Content, UGC & Rights Management, APAC. Both will report to Lorenzana.

Legowo joins Symphonic with over 20 years of experience across the music, creative, and business development sectors. He previously served as A&R Head at Warner Music Indonesia and Country Head, Indonesia at The Orchard, and brings extensive experience in artist development, distribution, marketing, and strategic partnerships.
Ungab is a digital marketing strategist and YouTube expert with more than a decade of experience across content strategy, rights management, monetization, and channel growth. She is certified in YouTube Music, rights, and monetization, and has worked closely with artists, labels, and global teams, including most recently at Ingrooves Music Group as Senior Manager, Video Strategy, APAC.
“Symphonic’s presence in APAC has skyrocketed over the past two years, and we have plans to continue expanding even further,” said Lorenzana. “Bringing these regional experts on board will fast-track our mission to empower independent artists and labels across the Asia-Pacific region, and we’re already off to a great start.”
