Music Ally covered Symphonic’s announcement of their acquisition of Distro Nation.
It’s been quite the path for YouTube-focused music network and distributor Distro Nation over the years.
Founded as Indmusic, it was acquired by Live Nation in 2016, renamed Live Nation Video Network, then separated off again in 2024, becoming Distro Nation. Now it has a new owner: distributor Symphonic.
“Today, they support over 200 artists and are known for their hands-on approach, strong reporting tools, monthly royalty payouts, and Tier A YouTube status, which unlocks top-tier ad rates,” it noted in its announcement.
“This acquisition brings a strong roster of channels under our management, including Lindsey Stirling, Sabaton, Yanni, Good Charlotte, Bryant Myers, and Switchfoot,” added Symphonic.
