Music Business Worldwide covered Symphonic’s new collaboration with MassiveMusic, expanding technology and abilities to their TransferTrack catalog migration technology.
Until now, clients still had to upload the underlying audio files, and in some cases other assets, before a transferred release could be submitted through SymphonicMS.

MassiveMusic‘s systems now supply that audio as FLAC files, alongside normalized, DDEX-compliant metadata that includes ISRC information.
Where an incoming label’s catalog already sits in MassiveMusic‘s systems, Symphonic says the content arrives structured and ready for distribution.
Symphonic then coordinates delivery and takedowns, which it says helps avoid gaps and protect the playcount history a label has built up.
