August 12, 2025 (Los Angeles) – SourceAudio, the music industry’s most widely adopted sync platform and a leader in AI music dataset licensing, has been named one of the Top 50 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. in Media, Arts & Entertainment. The company reached #42 in the category on the 2025 Inc. 5000 list, released today, on revenue growth of 57% from 2021 to 2024.
Notably, this does not include income from SourceAudio’s AI music dataset licensing marketplace, which has already brought in millions of dollars in new annual recurring revenue since launching in May 2025. The marketplace offers generative-AI companies access to millions of pre-cleared songs from over 3,000 music catalogs, including independent labels and premium-quality production music libraries, for ethical AI training – artists are paid for usages and given the ability to opt in on a case-by-case basis. Several generative-AI companies have already signed up, including ElevenLabs, Musical AI, and Wondera.

“Making the 2025 Inc. 5000 list is a huge honor and proof that we are on the right track,” said Andrew Harding, Co-Founder & CEO at SourceAudio. “Our core platform and marketplace for music licensing continues to scale, and our expansion into AI music dataset licensing has opened a significant new revenue stream. As AI transforms the music ecosystem, we’re proud to be the trusted platform helping rightsholders participate in the upside at scale. We look forward to even greater acceleration in 2026 and 2027.”
In addition to its #42 placement in the Inc. 5000’s Media, Arts & Entertainment category, SourceAudio placed #258 in the Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Anaheim, CA area; #636 in California; and #4,860 overall.

Methodology
Companies on the 2025 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2021 to 2024. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2021. They must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2024. (Since then, some on the list may have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2021 is $100,000; the minimum for 2024 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons.
