April 15, 2026 (Tampa, FL) – Symphonic, a leading music technology and services company for independent labels, managers, and artists, has hired Michelle Garramone as Head of Strategic Partnerships. In this role, she will lead the company’s expansion into catalog acquisitions and drive strategic partnerships that unlock new growth opportunities for its artists and partners.

As Head of Strategic Partnerships, Garramone will oversee relationships with catalog owners, investment funds, brand partners, and other strategic collaborators worldwide, further expanding Symphonic’s ability to support independent music businesses in a rapidly evolving market. She will also work closely with Symphonic’s leadership and deal teams to identify opportunities both within the Symphonic ecosystem and across emerging global markets, ensuring the company remains well-positioned in an increasingly competitive landscape.

Garramone brings over 15 years of experience building sustainable, scalable business models for artists, managers, independent labels, and music businesses with deep expertise in maximizing long-term catalog value through strategic development and operational discipline. Her move into distribution-level strategic partnerships marks a natural next step as she shapes the broader ecosystem around independent music and rights value creation.

Prior to joining Symphonic, Garramone served as President of Blue Rose Music, an investor-backed Northern California-based American heritage record label, where she oversaw company operations and led key growth initiatives across label and artist development, strategic distribution, and catalog optimization. Following her tenure, Michelle founded and led an advisory business, working with independent artists, labels, and music companies, partnering directly with executive leadership teams on expansion strategies, restructuring, systems optimization and market repositioning initiatives.

Garramone’s appointment signals a significant step forward in Symphonic’s long-term vision to deepen its role at the intersection of music, capital, and ownership. Known for her ability to bridge creative and financial strategy, she brings a highly relationship-driven approach that aligns artists and rightsholders with the right partners, resources, and opportunities to accelerate growth. Her leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping how Symphonic expands its catalog footprint while continuing to advocate for sustainable, artist-first business models in an increasingly sophisticated global market.

Garramone will report to Symphonic CEO Jorge Brea and will be based in Miami, FL.

“Given her track record of developing catalogs and building strong strategic relationships, Michelle is the ideal person to lead the way as we expand our financial strategy,” said Brea. “We have some exciting initiatives coming soon that will allow us to grow our catalog, maximize the value of the catalog we have, and provide our clients with the funds they need to climb the music-industry ladder.”

“We’re at a moment where independent artists and rightsholders are thinking more strategically about their catalogs, their capital, and their long-term growth,” said Garramone. “What excites me about joining Symphonic is the opportunity to be at the intersection of these conversations and to connect the needs of the market with efficient solutions, whether that’s capital, partnerships, or new ways to unlock value.”
