April 30, 2026 (Tampa, FL) – Symphonic, a leading music technology and services company for independent labels, managers, and artists, today announced the launch of Symphonic NEXT, a new initiative designed to connect clients with the capital, partnerships, and strategic pathways needed to grow and monetize their businesses. The program was co-developed and will be led by Michelle Garramone, who recently joined Symphonic as Head of Strategic Partnerships.

Symphonic NEXT builds on the company’s expanding role in catalog monetization, advances, and strategic transactions. In recent years, Symphonic has grown its activity in deploying advances and supporting catalog-related deals, while also developing relationships with a network of investment funds and capital partners active in the music space. In addition to sourcing and structuring opportunities, Symphonic works alongside these partners to help optimize and manage catalog assets, aligning operational expertise with long-term value creation.

Through NEXT, Symphonic will offer tailored financial solutions, including flexible royalty advances, partial or full catalog sales, strategic partnerships, and long-term distribution support. The program is designed to meet clients at different stages of their careers, providing options that align with their specific goals and long-term vision.

As part of the program, Symphonic works closely with artists, managers, labels, and other rightsholders to evaluate their catalogs, identify opportunities to enhance value, and determine the most effective financial strategy. Potential offerings include:

Partial or Full Catalog Acquisitions for those seeking to transition ownership or management of their rights to a trusted long-term partner, either directly through Symphonic or in partnership with aligned investment funds.

Catalog Optimization for those interested in increasing catalog value ahead of a potential transaction, including metadata cleanup, revenue audits, DSP visibility enhancements, marketing and playlisting strategies, and full-service rights administration.

Royalty Advances based on catalog performance, providing capital to support growth initiatives, operations, or new investments without requiring clients to give up ownership of their rights.

Clients participating in NEXT will move through a structured process designed to assess catalog value, identify areas for growth, and explore capital options aligned with their objectives. After confidentially sharing their vision and catalog information, clients receive a tailored evaluation and strategic recommendations, with no obligation to proceed. Depending on the opportunity, Symphonic may pursue transactions directly or collaborate with its network of trusted investment partners to structure the right outcome.

“Symphonic NEXT is a natural evolution of our platform and the work we’ve already been doing to support our clients beyond distribution,” said Jorge Brea, CEO of Symphonic. “We’ve grown our capabilities around advances, catalog strategy, and deal structuring, and we see a clear opportunity to continue expanding in this area. Our goal is to provide independent artists, labels, and managers with access to capital and partnerships that help them build long-term, sustainable businesses.”

Michelle Garramone

Garramone joined Symphonic earlier this month to lead the company’s work in catalog deals and strategic partnerships, with Symphonic NEXT marking the first dedicated initiative in that effort. In addition to leading NEXT, she oversees relationships with catalog owners, investment funds, brand partners, and other strategic collaborators worldwide.

Garramone brings more than 15 years of experience across artist development, strategic distribution, catalog optimization, and growth planning. Prior to joining Symphonic, she served as President of Blue Rose Music and later advised independent artists, labels, and music companies on expansion strategy, restructuring, and operational optimization.

“Symphonic NEXT reflects our continued focus on building meaningful relationships across the music and investment communities,” said Garramone. “We are working closely with both rightsholders and capital partners to identify opportunities, optimize assets, and structure deals that make sense for all parties. This is an important step in expanding how independent music businesses access and benefit from capital.”
