June 8, 2026 (Tampa, FL) – Symphonic, a leading music technology and services company for independent labels, managers, and artists, has promoted four members of its executive leadership team. Janette Berrios will rise to SVP, Corporate Marketing; Ed Poston to SVP, Head of A&R; Lane Roney to SVP, Finance; and Taylor Garland to EVP & CFO. Berrios will report to CEO & Founder Jorge Brea and is based in Tampa. Poston will continue to report to Chief Creative Officer Randall Foster and is based in New York City. Roney will report to Garland and is based in Tampa. Garland will report to Brea and is based in Tampa.

Berrios has been a core member of the Symphonic team since the company’s early days, quickly moving up through the ranks and helping power the company’s global growth. Since 2022, she has held the title of VP, Corporate Marketing, playing a key role in advancing Symphonic’s international expansion strategy and supporting A&R and marketing growth across the U.K., Europe, and APAC, while reinforcing the company’s stronghold in Latin America. She also leads Symphonic’s Women Empowered mentorship program, a global initiative that has connected more than 1,200 women across 46 countries. She additionally oversees Symphonic’s global education and community-building efforts, including Creative Connections, a networking series that has connected thousands of artists and industry professionals through events throughout the United States, Latin America, Brazil, and Europe.
Poston joined Symphonic in August 2025 as Head of A&R with over 20 years of experience discovering, signing, and developing groundbreaking artists and songwriters across the U.S., U.K., and Europe. Since joining Symphonic, Poston has been a driving force behind the company’s creative strategy and global expansion, leading a team of 36 creatives worldwide. He has a history of working with top-tier talent including artists such as Aurora, Bombay Bicycle Club, Childish Gambino, Ed Sheeran, James Hersey, Walshy Fire (Major Lazer) and many more, achieving multiple Gold and Platinum certifications and awards across his career. Under his leadership, recent signings have included Afrosalto (Afrojack & Gregor Salto), Lyna Mahyem, They Might Be Giants, Red Street Records, Judge & Jury Records, Lake Street Dive, European label Roq N Rolla Music, the new album from Filter, new singles from Tim McGraw, growing P-Pop artist BINI, and key releases from Sam Tinnesz.
Roney joined Symphonic in 2021 as Director of Finance, moving up to the role of Vice President, Finance in 2023. He has played a central role in the company’s growth and operational scaling, including leading internal finance efforts related to the company’s successful Series B financing in 2021. He has also spearheaded major finance infrastructure initiatives, including enterprise systems implementations, advanced financial modeling and analytics capabilities, and the development of scalable processes to support the company’s continued expansion.
Garland joined Symphonic as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in 2017, bringing experience from investment banking, private equity, and entrepreneurial ventures in a variety of industries. He is responsible for overall financial management, reporting, strategic growth and operating initiatives, fundraising, capital deployment, and board and investor relations. As EVP, he will manage the Human Resources department as well as Head of Strategic Partnerships Michelle Garramone, and assist in wider business development initiatives and legal support.
